Fernando Alonso got the chance to sample the substandard 2009 Ferrari challenger F60 in a filming session done to shoot an advert for title sponsor Banco Santander. The shooting session was held at the Paul Ricard circuit. The most obvious thing is the new 2010 livery for the car. While Ferrari purists will say it is a small sniff of the past when red and white dominated the car’s color works, the newer generation of Ferrari fans might call the livery an abomination.
The number of laps done are unclear but surely limited and almost certainly at less than racing speeds for perfect filming by the trailing and forward moving camera crews.
Ferrari’s 2010 challenger will be unveiled on the 28th of January 2010. Fernando Alonso is scheduled to test the 2010 challenger chassis 281 during the first 3 days of the Valencia tests starting from the 1st of February. Felipe Massa will debut the new car out on track.
