Fernando Alonso was the guest at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali (Ferrari World Finals) today at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. The event was publicized and covered by MARCA in conjunction with Skysports 3 and several other local media.
This was made possible after the generous gesture by Renault to permit Alonso to be at the event without being in official Ferrari branding or overalls in anyway. He is still under contract to Renault and its tied sponsors until the end of this year. Alonso though managed a cunning display in a reddish sweater without having to wear official Ferrariclothing. Nice one Fernando
Alonso and 2010 teammate Felipa Massa rode atop a top -down Ferrari California driven by Ferrari President Luca Di Montezemolo. The ride though had some good laughs for the Spanish spectators plus embarrassments for Montezemolo his two star drivers to go along with it.

Luca did Hamilton teach you this maneuver?

....and the rescue!
In an attempt to get closer to the spectators in the grandstands Luca Di Montezemolo drove the car onto the gravel trap and got stuck (obviously thats why its the gravel trap!). They were soon ‘rescued’ after a few giggles and blushes between themselves by another Ferrari California.
Alonso felt the full emotions of the Ferrari festivities first hand as he got up close and personal with the various championship winning/contending machines of past and present.

Soaking in the mood of the festivities

Alonsomania is still running wild
This being in Spain Fernando had no shortage of fans crowding over and tripping over themselves in a frenzy to take snaps and get autographs of their local hero.
